Wedding Proposals - A Knight In Shining Armour
Every girl dreams of being carried off by her knight in shining armour upon a white horse.
Well, it actually happened. It was a Saturday afternoon when a young women heard a commotion going on outside her apartment window. She looked out and could not believe her eyes. A small crowd had gathered around a tall white horse with a knight dressed in armour sitting on its back.
A man in a serf’s costume was holding the horse’s reigns as a television cameraman was pointing his camera up at her window. The knight gestured for her to come down. She made her way down the stairs, to the awaiting serf who helped the knight off his horse and, as the camera rolled, he raised his visor to reveal the face of her long time boyfriend.
He asked her to marry him on bended knee. The young women started to cry, but was able to blurt out a loud “Yes!” The knight (he got both outfits from a local costume shop) kissed her gently then lifted her up on to the back of the horse, to the cheers of the crowd.
“Now that’s a romantic wedding proposal”
