CIBJO Protects the confidence of consumers.
CIBJO,
The World Jewellery Confederation is the oldest organization in the worldwide jewellery and diamond sector. It does not have individual members, but rather its membership is made up of national associates from the jewellery & diamond trades in more than 40 countries, and the numbers are growing.
CIBJO’s Mission
Essentially, it is protecting the confidence of consumers in the diamond and jewellery the industry sell. By defending the integrity of the industry and its products, and in so doing protecting consumer confidence.
CIBJO have formulated a framework set of ethical business practices and principals.
Thus, a consumer buying jewellery or diamonds from a company affiliated to a CIBJO member will know that the rough materials that the jewellery is made from were obtained legitimately.
